High season reverie

07/15/2015 by Holly

Do they sell BT by the tanker?

I mean for residential use?

I’m thinking maybe if I could dunk myself in it and then just sleep in between the raised beds, my odor might be enough to keep the pests away.

bush beans

The new bush beans are coming on strong.  But I’m seeing them chomped on already–I want to tuck them under my metaphorically-speaking-BT-coated wing.

green tomatoes

Hello lovelies.  I’m probably going to fry you up like a good southern girl should.

corn

And I can practically taste this corn, it’s so close to being ready.  A lot of the ears are itty-bitty.  They’ll still eat, right?

Oh, hi there

I'm Holly from zone 7b.
My veggies grow above ground where the rabbits help themselves, and the flowers grow in ground where the children help themselves. Sometimes I wish I was a pioneer. Then I move the clothes from the washer to the dryer and think better of it.
