There’s something shady going on around here…

03/16/2016 by Holly

The results are in from the sprout test.

one, two, skip a few

And not dissimilar to what’s happening in the primaries: I’m just not buying them.

The things that have *always* worked for me scored big fat zero’s.

did someone say pink?

And the things that have been historically finicky for me did well enough not to re-buy.

alyssum

Both colors of zinnia, as well as the pampas plume celosia did not demonstrate any signs of sprouting. Zilch.

8 of 10 of the sunflowers sprouted {or 80%, thank you very much, look at me mathing…}

70% of the alyssum sprouted.

Is the world spinning backwards?

trump

Apparently so. For alas, this is not the cover of Mad magazine.

Oh, hi there

I'm Holly from zone 7b.
My veggies grow above ground where the rabbits help themselves, and the flowers grow in ground where the children help themselves. Sometimes I wish I was a pioneer. Then I move the clothes from the washer to the dryer and think better of it.
